Canada Night The Canadian Sanitation Supply Association's annual cocktail party, held on the Wednesday of the ISSA show
, continues to be the "hottest ticket in town" says CSSA President Kim Murtha.

This year's Canada Night, held at the Mid America Club in beautiful downtown Chicago was host to the ever popular event. Newly renovated, the 80th floor of the club provided a spectacular view of the city. Specialty food stations, provided by our members who sponsored the evening, were elegantly displayed around the perimeter of the room.

Over 600 industry personnel and their guests were greeted by CSSA officials in what is turning out to be one of the most popular social events at the ISSA Show. The CSSA would like to thank the staff at the Mid America for their hard work and the many members who continue the support this outstanding event. (list the sponsors). We look forward to Orlando in 2010. See Photos

New CSSA/CAEM Alliance
The Canadian Association of Environmental Management and the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association announced a historic tentative agreement between the two associations. Director of Public Relations for CAEM Ron McQuade commented that this is part of CAEM’s vision to become the premier National Association of professionals employed in the Environmental Services, Custodial and Housekeeping industry. Our goal is to bring regional groups together in order that the Housekeeping Industry has one voice on the national stage. This agreement with CSSA will give our end users a close working alliance with our supplier association. The concept of a national supplier association and end user association alliance will have powerful synergies for both associations McQuade commented.
